Eichten's family has been producing Gouda cheese since 1976 on their family farm. Working with the University of Minnesota to produce a value added product which became a farmstead cheese plant operation. Goal was to produce Gouda just as they did on the farms in Holland. Eichten's Herb Gouda was the first spiced cheese introduced to the American people per the University of Minnesota. Mary Eichten was 20 years ahead of the trends. Today they have 13 flavors along with Mary's Tilsit Cheese available to sell in food service wheels.

Pure Ingredients:

All of Eichten's natural cheeses are made on our farm from fresh cow's milk. We add no coloring, artificial flavors, preservatives or GMO Rennet. (our milk contains no growth hormones, antibiotics or rBGH.) All of our cheese products are gluten free.

Our Methods:

Our cheese is hand-made in an open vat which is identical to the way cheese is made on the farms in Holland and throughout Europe.

Aging Rooms:

Our aging rooms are kept at a precise temperature and the cheese is moved and turned daily for correct breathing and aging. We age our cheese 60 days or longer - the longer the aging period, the strong the flavors.

Delivery: Our cheeses are cut daily and per order. We delivery by van, truck or delivery companies.
