Beer Cheese Soup
Use any brand of beer (the alcohol cooks off, but you may substitute ginger ale or juice) and your favorite cheese. (I like sharp cheddar.)
Prepared soup holds perfectly in a slow cooker, so serve this sure winner at your next sports party.
You will need: Butter, 12 oz can of beer, 3 cups of low-fat milk, 2 cups shredded favorite cheese.
Serving Suggestion: Garnish with popped corn or bagel chips.
You may substitute 1 1/2 cups milk in place of beer.
